~I Hate That I Love You (Sasuke & Naruto) Chapter 7: Let The Chuunin Exams Begin!~

Sasuke's POV: I was talking to this guy named Kabuto and he told me that he had information on everyone here.I was a little curious on the sand guy and the Lee person that beat me without even breaking a sweat,.I also wanted to know more about Nashi.Sasuke:"Do you think you can give me any information on some guy named Gaara of the Desert and Rock Lee.I also want to know about Nashi Hatake"  Kabuto:"Oh man. Thats no fun you even know they're names...." He pulled out a blank card and used some jutsu on it.There was a picture of Nashi in the corner with her name, village and stats and everything else. Kabuto:"Wow!Amazing.It seems she's taking the exams on her own and is from the Village Hidden in the Sand.She's been on 3 A-Ranked missions and wasnt even injured on the first one, 6 B-rank, 9 C-rank, and 12 D-rank missions.She's on squad seven, your squad.Teammates are-" Sasuke:"My teammates and my sensie.Yeah I know.Now tell me everything else" Kabuto:"Ok.Calm down.She has an amazing amount of chakra, but has a terrible time at controlling it.She cant even climb a tree with it or put chakra into her weapons.Also she's really good at ninjutsu and genjutsu.Her taijutsu is at average though.Here it says that she's was training to become a medic once, but after the death of her old squad and sensie she dropped out and left the village.She was a suspect as well in their murders and she has a terrible fear of senbon, throwing needles." I heard the doors open and looked over to see Nashi.Naruto:"Hey Nashi!" He ran up to her and put on that stupid grin of his. Kabuto:"Hey heres some advice.Dont mess with Nashi Hatake and a girl named Tenshi Hota.Those two are more experienced then us and are already more powerful then us.They're also the only three to take the chuunin exams by themself in atleast 10 or 20 years and the last bunch that died died." I narrowed my eyes a bit and then turned to look at Nashi.

Nashi's POV: I ran through the doors and froze.In the room must have been atleast 50 teams, but thats what it looks to like to me.Naruto:"Hey Nashi" I looked over and saw Naruto and the others.All 9 leaf rookies were taking the exam.Nashi:"Hey guys. Hinata whats up"Hinata:"H-hey Nashi" Nashi:"Hey Shino, Choji, Shika." Shikamaru:"Shikamaru...oh why do I even bother.You never listen." Nashi:"Got that right" Shikamaru:"Troublesome girl" Nashi:"Thank you" I walked around a bit and bumped into someone.I looked up and was shocked.A girl with brown hair like mine was standing above me and she looked EXACTLY like me.She also had metallic blue eyes and everything.The only difference was she had brown hair.I stood up and noticed that she was thinking the same thing as me becuase of the look on her face.Nashi:"umm...do I know you?" She shook her head no and told me her name.It was Tenshi Hota.Tenshi:"So whats your name?If you saw Tenshi Hota I'll eat my kunia right now" Nashi:"No.Its Nashi Hatake....Why do you look like me" Tenshi:"Why do you look like me!" Nashi:"I asked you first!" Tenshi:"Well I dont-oh whats the use.Listen I dont know why I look like you" Nashi:"Maybe were sisters?" Tenshi:"How can we be sisters?I dont have a family." Nashi:"Well I was adopted....Maybe we are" Tenshi:"Well-" Ibiki:"Ok!Listen up!You three souind ninjas in the back no fighting!Now follow me and take a slip of paper!The Chuunin exams have started!"

Nashi's POV: I was sitting by Sasuke and some mist ninja that looked just a bit jumpy.Sasuke was on my left and the mist ninja was on my right, moving as if someone gave him itching powder.I mean come on he kept on fidgeting and twitching in his seat.On his paper it said his name was Mako Tsuki. Nashi:'Heh.I bet this guy wont last more then 10 minutes.In fact Im pretty surprised that he's not falling out of his seat right now.Ibiki:"ok Nashi Hatake, Tenshi Hota, and Mirikutaariki Tokatomiku.Since you three dont have squads and are on your own.If you miss every single question, you'll fail."Nashi:"What!But I SUCK at written exams!I never get a single one right!" Ibiki:"Well thats not my problem now is it?" I growled at him and sat back into my seat and listened.After Ibiki finished telling us the rules I looked down at the paper. Nashi: 'Well just as I expected I dont know a single damned question on this stupid piece of paper! Man I suck at written exams.I hate them and they hate me ....damn...I geuss I'll just have to cheat....without getting caught by atleast 20 sentinals keeping watch...impossible' I dropped my head and hit it off of the table. Nashi:"ow" I sat up straight again and rubbed my forhead.Then I got a bright idea.Nashi: 'Sasuke's smart, but I cant cheat off of him.He may not be my teammate right now, but he still is my teammate...That made no sense what so ever...Damn Im even confusing myself....Ok since he isnt my teammate right now that makes him my enemy.So it doesnt matter if I cheat off of the enemy.I'll just use one of my jutsus!' I put my hands behind the desk infront of me and did the handsigns. Nashi: 'Ninja Art:Mimic doubling jutsu' I targeted Sasuke's paper and the words were doubled and the original ones came onto my paper, were they belong.

Sasuke's POV: I realized what they wanted us to do.They wanted us to cheat without getting caught.I activated the sharingan and copied the movements of the person infront of me while he wrote down the answers. After I was done I glanced over at Nashi and saw that she hit her head off of the desk.She rubbed it and mumbled a ow.Then she turned serious and looked in deep though.For a quick second I couldve sworn I saw her with red eyes as well. I felt light headed a bit and the next thing I know is she's doing a bunch of handsigns at her lap so no one would notice and everything I wrote down was copied and the letters went over onto her paper.Sasuke: 'How did she do that!'

Nashi's POV: After I was done with my jutsu and taking Sasuke's answers I leaned back in my chair and put a proud smile on.I knew Sasuke was probably pissed off at me for making him the target of my jutsu, but I didnt care.I closed my eyes and fell asleep after noticing Gaara using his third eye to look around the place for somebody to copy off of, he picked Tenshi. I smirked, Gaara was elimnating compitition in my mind. I then yawned and leaned back and fell asleep. 

~I Hate that I Love You (Sasuke & Naruto) Chapter 8:  The forest Of Death~

Nashi's POV: I heard a loud crash and fell out of my seat, wide awake.I pulled out a kunia and stood up.I looked around and realized everyone was staring at me like I was some sort of maniac. I looked down at Sasuke and he just sighed and shook his head.Sasuke:"idiot" Nashi:"What!?" Ibiki:"About time you woke up, Nashi Hatake.Also your early Anko,...agian." I at down red as ever for making an idiot out of myself and notice a broken window. Nashi:'So thats what that noise was' I look down to the bottom of the room and see, Anko.I used to train with her when I was still in this village.Anko:"Ibiki there's more then last year.Your going soft.How coul;d you let all of them pass.I mean there must be atleast 40 people left" Ibiki:"Maybe their just getting better" Ankio:"Naw.Anyways by the time I'm done with them more then half of them will be gone" Everyone started talking about how that wasnt fair or about how surprised they were.Anko:"Ok I'll see you, maggots tomarrow." I stood up and walked down the row to Naruto. Naruto:"Hey Nashi.You passed thats wonderful." Nashi:"Even more wonderful you and the others passed.I also heard your little speech." Naruto:"I thought you were aleep" Nashi:"Well I was at first but then I woke up when you slammed your hand downon the desk.Then I just pretended to be asleep.See Im pretty tricky." Naruto:"So how did you figure out the answers?" Nashi:"I stole them off of Sasuke since I knew he would find a way to get them right." Naruto:"How did you steal them with out getting caught?" Nashi:"...Now thats.My little secret.Naruto one thing you have to learn about me is to never underestimate me.I have tons and tons of jutsus in my arsenail.Some of them I even created." Naruto:"Wow." Kakashi:"well congrates you four." Nashi:"brother" I tackled him in a hug. Nashi:"Kakashi I think I may have found someone you should meet.Her name is Tenshi Hota.She looks exactly like me except she looks a little more younger and she has longer brown hair.Also she's in her own group too." While telling Kakashi all of this I notieced his visible eye was widening, as if he knew something was going on. I asked him what was wrong and he shook it off and said nothing. Nashi:'I know somethings is up and I'm going to find out what!It has to do with Tenshi.'

Nashi's POV: Nashi:"Hey Sasuke.Sorry about copying off of you in the Chuunin exams.I knew you would have the answers because I saw you get them with your Sharingan." Sasuke:"Eh no big deal" Nashi:"Well it sort of is.Se I was thinking that since we're not a team during the chuunin exams then that means we're enemies.Im sorry for thinking that way.Heres some advise to make it up to you.The next part is in the Forest Of Death.You have to be ready for anything.People die in there and whatever you do...well dont let your gaurd down no matter what." Sasuke:"Got it" Nashi:"Well goodnight." I went into the apartment Naruto and I shared and went to sleep.

Sakura:"Man this place is creepy." Nashi:"Aye, but oh well." I signed the sheet and went to my gate.It was gate 21. I put my Heaven Scroll in my pocket and when the gates opened I ran through. Not even ten minutes into the exam I ran into an enemy. Nashi:"oh no!" I jumped back and landed on a branch of a tree, fingering my shuriken incase the three wanted a fight. Nashi:'Damn three against one...' Then without realizing it I started talking to myself. Nashi:"I like those odds." I recgnized the one ninja as the guy I was sitting next to, Mako. Mako:"Hehe, y-y-you again h-huh! We-ll....Were n-n-n-not going easy oon you be-because yoru a girl!" Nashi:"good, just the way I liek it now co-" Next thing I know they three of them are running off. Nashi: "Nani? COWARDS!!"  sat down on a branch and a shuriken flew by my head, jsut barely missing it. Nashi:"Well...looks like I got company." I turned around and saw a squad of mist ninja with a Earth scroll. Nashi:"Wow today must be my lucky day. Hope you guys arent cowards as well. Now if you hand over your Earth scroll I promise I'll let you live." One of them told me to get real and that they didnt plan on giving me the scroll so I pulled out my katana and attacked them.

~I Hate that I Love You (Sasuke & Naruto) Chapter 9: Nashi Vs Orochimaru~

Nashi's POV: I smiled and put the earth scroll in my pocket with the heaven scroll.Nashi:"Piece of cake...even though Im not a really big fan of cake." I looked back at the three now dead Mist ninja.The were laying on the ground with their throats slashed from my katana. I was just about to continue on my way when I heard someone scream.And it sounded like Sakura!I ran through the forest and stopped befor a clearing.I looked down and saw Naruto hanging from a kunia, pinned to a large tree.Sasuke looked in copmplete shock and afraid and Sakura was actually yelling at Sasuke telling him that atleast Naruto was trying.Standing afew feet from them was some girl or guy I had absoluetly no idea.It seemed to me that this...umm He/She was causing my friends trouble.Nashi:'Ok no one messes with my friends and gets away with it!' I pulled out my katana and some metal thread.I looped the thread around the bransh and swung down.I swiped my katana at the girl or whatever's face and sliced the skin on cheek slightly.I jumped infront of Sasuke and looked back at him.I felt so sorry for him and then furious and blood thirsty. Nashi:"You!Are you the thing that caused my friends and teammates so much trouble!"(Im just going to say its a girl) Girl:"Depends who's asking" Nashi:"Nashi AHtake thats who's asking!" Girl:"Hatake huh?"She licked her mouth with a snake looking tounge and I smiled like some insane person. I pulled out my sword and charged at her. I started swinging my sword at her, but she dodged every single move.Nashi:"argh!..." I could feel my demon start to awaken and my teeth getting longer, more fang and animal like.The same thing was happened with my claws. Nashi:"I think I'll kill younfor making my friends suffer." I started to perform a bunch of seals at once. Nashi:"Assassin Style:Frozen Death Jutsu!" My blade was covered in a crystal clear ice and so were my hands. Nashi:"One touch from my hands or blade will instintly drop your body temperture to blow 32 degrees.Thus turning your body, blood and organs to ice. Girl:"Amazing" I charged at her and started slashing away.

Girl/Orochimaru's POV: I started dodging the girl's attacks, but found out that it was a bit harder then expected.I made a replica and she hit it and it froze and shattered.I watched her from up in a tree and she deactivated the jutsu she was using.Orochimaru:'There's no doubt about it...She's one of the.Here I thought Itcachi killed all of them.But here I found a Hota and Uchiha.Lets see how her abilities are' I jumped down at her and she jumped out of the way.Then I used my speed and started circling around her.After doing that for awhile I jumped at her and she jumped back. Nashi:"Fire Element:Blazing Fireball Technique!" She hit me with it but I just brushed it off like it was nothing.She then did another strange jutsu that I knew belonged to the Hota clan. Nashi:"Ninja Art:Wings Of A Fallen Angel!"

Orochimaru/Girl's POV: Orochimaru:"Amazing" Nashi:"thanks, but Im still going to kill you for messign with my friends!" She pulled out a sword and charged at me.Her speed has increased by atleast 3 times and and so did her strength.She punched me and I went straight through a tree.When she came up to me I realized she was having a hard time breathing.Obviously the jutsu was putting alot of stress on her and took alot of chakra.Nashi: "I got an idea!Lets see if your a girl or dude!" She went to go kick me where the sun dont shine but I jumped and punched her in the face.I then started punching her in her face, ribs and stomach.She then went flying back and fell down, unable to get back up.I used a paralysis jutsu and she froze and fell to her knees. Sasuke:"Nashi!" I quickly bit her and put my curse mark on her.

Nashi's POV: The girl's neck extended and her teeth turned into snake like fangs and sunk into the side of my neck.I could hear Sasuke call my name and right before the girl pulled away she told me her name but in a older guy's voice. Guy/Girl:"My name is Orochimaru.If you want to know about your family then search for me" He pulled away and I saw Sasuke attack him and then the jutsu worn off while I passed out.

Nashi's POV:I woke up and sat up.My neck felt like it was burning alive.Then I noticed Sakura staring up at someone, it was Sasuke.Naruto was passed out beside me and I tried to stand up but fell back down.Sasuke and Sakura turned to look at me and my eyes widened when I saw Sasuke.There were black markings all over his body.???:"Bout time that girl woke up.Now I can fight her too." I looked over in the direction of the voice and saw three sound ninja.I did a bit of research so I knew who they were.Nashi:"W-why do you...want to fight me?" Dosu:"Zaku we cant take them righ now. Zaku:"Eh yeah right!I can!Mazimum AirCutter!" I saw a giant wave of air come at me, but my legs weren't moving.Then I saw Sasuke grab Sakura, me and Naruto and instintly move us to the other side of the area.He put them down and looked down at me.Sasuke:"Nashi...Are you ok?" Nashi:"A-Aye...Sasuke what happened to you?"He didnt answer my question.He put me down and the ninja finally noticed that we were behind them.Sasuke attacked Zaku with a pheonix flower jutsu and ran behind him and grabbed his arms.Sasuke:"You seem very proud of these arms of yours." Zaku:"What are you doing!Let go!" Then Sasuke pulled back and broke Zaku's arms.Sakura was shaking like a leaf in the wind and was to afriad to even move. Sasuke:"Hopw about you next?" He started walking up to Dosu.Nashi:'No!If I dont do anything Sasuke will kill them!Come on body!Move!Move Move please!!' I stood up and forced my body to move, ignoring the pain. I ran at Sasuke and wrapped my arms around him.He turned his head around and glared at me.Nashi:"Please Sasuke...let them go..." I saw his markings retreat and my legs gave out.Sasuke caught me and also fell to the ground.Dosu:"It seems we have underestimated you Sasuke Uchiha.Please let us go with our lives and in return we will give you our Earth scroll.He put down the scroll and picked up his teammates.Dosu:"But..if we ever meet agian then we will fight." He turned around but I stopped him. Nashi:"Wait!What was up with all those strange markings!Whats going on here!" Dosu:"I dont know.All Orochimaru told us to do is to find you and Sasuke and then try to kill you two...but why he would request such a thing after giving you two so much power I dont know." Nashi:"Wait so if he also put a curse on me then why didnt it activate!" Dosu:"Simple.You dont have revenge in your system,...yet" He then vanished.

~I Hate that I Love You (Sasuke & Naruto) Chapter 10: The Dream and NAshi Hatake vs Mako Tsumi, the not so Jumpy Ninja~

Nashi's POV: I ran to the center of the forest and found a river. I sat down and filled up my container.I also managed to catch some fish and have something to eat.After my meal I continued on my way to the tower.I still had one day left and my neck was hurting so bad at this point that I had to rest.I found a cave and went to sleep with my katana in my hands. 

~DREAM~

I woke up and looked around.I was outside of the Leaf village and I could hear crying?I followed the noise and found a tiny village. A women in a long cloak was carring a bundle of something.There was also a guy in a cloak following her and carring the same thing. I tried to call out to them,but instead nothing came out, so I decided to follow them. I jumped infront of them, but they passed right through me. Nashi:'Whats going on!Is this a dream?' I took out a kunia and poked my finger and I felt the pain.I pulled the weapon away and saw blood coming out ofthe freshly made wound. Nashi:'Geuss Im not dreaming then' I continued to follow the people untill I was right beside them.I looked at the bundle in the younger male's arms and saw a baby.It was a girl. She had a small patch of dark brown hair and had shiny blue eyes. I then ran ahead and saw that the other thing that the older women was carring was a young baby as well, but looked a couple of months older then the other one.This one was also a girl.She had a small patch of golden blonde hair ontop of her head and metallic like blue eyes.I also noticed something very strange.On her left shoulder was something that looked like a red wolf with blue fangs.It also had a bunch of weird symbols around it.Nashi:'What!That's my tattoo that I was born with!Thats me!So this must be my mother!' I was about to look at the women but some kunias hit her and the man. The babies fell to the ground and a bunch of rouge ninja came and two of them picked up me and the other child.Nashi:'NO!LEave them alone!' I tried to swing a pucnh at them, but it went through. Ninja:"So these are the Hota twins?" Nanja2:"Yeah.Itachi killed them and we finished his job.These two really are the last Hotas jsut as Sama requested." Ninja:"Butwhy would he want such a powerful clan killed off?" Ninja2:"Who cares.We're getting paid right.So why bother.Now you know what to do" Ninja:"Of course.I'll take Nashi to the Sand village." Ninja2:"And I'll take Tenshi to the Cloud village."The two ninja seperated and ran off in opposite directions.

~AFTER DREAM~

Nashi's POV: I woke up in a deep sweat with the feeling of metal to my neck. Ninja:"Havent you ever heard of keeping your gaurd up?" I was scared so I activated my kekkie Genkia. Ninja:"You know you might just be too cute to kill..nope" He raised his kunia and I attacked his mind. He dropped his kunia and started spraling around on the ground holding his head.Then I dug deeper into his mind and killed him, painlessly.His body went limp and the other two ninja looked terrified. They dropped their weapons and ran out of the cave. I looked down at the first person I have ever killed in years.Nashi:"Im..sorry.I didnt mean to" I then stood up and walked out, but not before taking the guy's heaven scroll.

~1 DAY LATER INSIDE TOWER~

Ibiki:"And thats why we have to have a preliminary round.Now turn your attention to the screen and the people's names who come up stay here while everyone else goes up out of the way" I looked over at the giant screen and a bunch of names started flashing.Then I saw my name come up. Hayate:"Ok Nashi Hatake and Mako Tsumi stay here." Everyone went up and Naruto passed me and wished me a good luck.For some reason I also felt my cheeks warm up, as if I was blushing.So I turned my head and said thank you.

Mako:"So..w-w-we-were fighting, huh?" He looked like he was cold.He was shaking worse then a leaf in the blowing wind.Same thing I thought of him when I first saw him. Nashi:"umm..aye.Hey can I ask something of you?" Mako:"Ahh!Oh umm what is it?" I used my speed and got in his face and said 'BOO!'. He screamed and jumped back and stumbled and fell. Nashi:'This.Is.My.Opponent?' Nashi:"Come on I cant fight this weakling!He's too-Argh!" I grabbed my neck and Anko and the others looked worried and ready for something.I brushed off the pain and went to the other side of the battle field to get ready to fight.Nashi:"Ready" Mako:"Me t-t-too" He pulled out a kunia and I drew my sword. Hayake:"...Begin!" In a instint Mako disappeared and reappeared on my left.He brought down the kunia, but I quickly raised my sword and blocked the attack.Nashi:'He's so quick!' I looked at him and he wasnt shaking anymore.Nor did he look afriad.He was serious and looked angry.I jumped back and threw some shuriken at him. HE blocked them with kunia. My neck started ahurting agian and I could feel the curse mark trying to take over again. While trying to regain control he manaaged to punch me in the stomach and kick me in the face. I hit the wall and fell down. Naruto:"Nashi!Come on!I know you can beat him!" Nashi:"I know that,...so what happened to the shaking coward that ran off the other day?" Mako:"That my lady, was called acting,..learn it" I then saw him glare at me and smirk as he threw a kunia at me. I jumped and caught it and threw it back. Nashi:"So you act like your at the bottom of the food chain so people wont take you seriously and drop their gaurds. Then you stab them in the back!" I appeared behind him with the telepotation jutsu and stabbed him in the back but it turned out to ber a clone. It exploded and a bunch of shuriken came at me. I dodged soem of them but a few got stuck in my leg.  I looked aroudn the room and then found him, but it was too late. I was slammed up against the wall again and he jumped back and I fell to the round. I stood up and held my side.It felt like I broke a rib. I would have to get serious, but not like last time. I refuse to take my fights seriously, unless soemone's life was on the line. In this case it wasnt, so I would have to mess around a bit. Nashi:"Aye..this win is for you Naruto!Shadow clone jutsu!"I made 10 clones and sat down to watch the fight.They started beating up Mako while I was trying to use a healing jutsu. Nashi:"Ninja Art:Touch Of An Goddess" I put my hand to my broken rib and could feel it starting to heal.As soon as I finished healing myself I stood up and Mako destroyed the last clone.I cracked my knucles and put on an evil smile. Nashi:"Ready." I charged at him and punched him in the gut.He fell down and I picked him up by the back of his shirt.Nashi:"This is for breaking one of my ribs earlier." I kicked him and he flew into the other wall. I ran up and started punching him whenever I could land a blow.Before I knew it I had knocked him out. I backed away and let him fall to the ground. Nashi:"Nice try" Hayate:"The winner is Nashi Hatake" I heard cheering and smiled. Then I looked up at the board and saw the names Sasuke Uchih vs Yorio Akado. Nashi:'Good luck Sasuke' I then took a step but felt my neck catch a blaze and I fell down. Naruto: "Nashi!"  I noticed that he was about to jump down fro mthe stands, but Kakashi stopped him and appeared beside me. Sasuek had also coem down for his battle an came over to me. Nashi-...ashida...i-it burns...." Kakashi: "dont worry...Anko can you take her and get her sealed?" Anko:"Sure" She helped me up and my neck started burning even more and I let out a loud scream. Anko: "This is bad!" Kakashi:" Get her out of here, quick" Akno nodded and right before we vanished I saw a jounin smirking in the corner with the soudn ninja. The next thing I know I was in a basement lookign area. Anko: "Ok listen to me Nashi. I need you to take your shirt off, Im going to try and seal that cursemark, then I need to head bac k to the preliminary exams, you're goign to stay here and wait for Kakashi and Sauske, ok?" Nashi:"I nodded and did as she told me to do.
